How to be a Hipster Girl

What the fuck!!! Anyway here it is from wikihow.

1. Look the part. Shop at goodwill, buffalo exchange, urban outfitters, american apparel etc. Even your grandmas closet is cool, if it looks ironic and like nobody else has it, go for it. Try buying items that are not thought of as cool - being a hipster is going against the mainstream. For jeans, wear really tight black or darkwash jeans, ripped is great. No bright colored skinny jeans, thats too ghetto. For shirts, ones from the bargain bin at the thrift store are great, tourist shirts, plain colored v neck or scoop neck shirts, little league shirts, softball shirts. Have a few american apparel sweat shirts, with the white zippers. Cardigans are great, too, black or gray is best. Skirts are really cool right now, try anything high waisted or from american apparel. Short shorts are also great for summer, cuttoffs and the folded ones are best. NO BERMUDAS!!
2. Hipsters dye their hair frequently, but try not to do it any crazy colors, thats skanky. Dye it natural colors like red, blond and brown but black is best. Get really choppy layers, bangs,or just wake up in the morning and add some hairspray for the bed head look.
3. STRAIGHTEN YOUR HAIR!
4. Don't eat meat - only fish. Eat sushi. Go vegan or vegetarian if you can.
5. Go to local coffee shops, bring a book of poetry and just sit there and sip for a while.
6. Most hipsters are artists, so give it a try. Photography, singing, drawing, sculpting, painting, graffiti, and playing an instrument are all good.
7. Listen to only indie rock and folk. If you need guidance there, go to the other wikihows on indie and hipster music. DO NOT WEAR BAND T SHIRTS, its ciche and dumb.
8. Get a hipster boyfriend/girlfriend. Make all the other hipsters jealous.
9. Drive a trashy car, or even better a bike, but it has to be a fixed gear one (fixie). Ride it everywhere.
10. Try to lose some weight. Hipsters are usually very skinny. Do yoga.
11. Don't dance at shows - just bob, or swing side to side to the music. Tap your foot and nod occasionally if your sitting down.
12. Don't forget the accessories; A keychain with your keys plus maybe one or two little ironic keychains from Alaska or something. A black beanie hat worn low back on your head for when you don't have time to do your hair. Friendship bracelets or hemp peace bracelets. Get those thick rimmed nerd glasses too, classic black only. Also make sure you always have a pair of black wayfarer glasses or cop glasses too, really dark. Look toward the bottom for cool bag ideas.
13. Shoes:Really expensive Nike Kicks in crazy colors, hightops are best. Every hipster owns at least one pair of lace up vans. Black, red, all black, white, and blue are best. White Keds work too, mostly for girls. Toms are the new fashion, organic shoes are great. The classic black converse are always a good fall back shoe.
14. For inspiration subscribe to magazines like Nylon, Spin, Elle, Juxtapoz and other art and fashion magazines. Follow the styles of Zooey Deschanel, Peaches Geldoff, and Agyness Deyn. If you dont know who they are, google them.
15. Smoking cigarettes/weed, and drinking is accepted, but don't feel inclined to do. Never, ever, EVER do it to be cool, thats dumb. Respect yourself, if you don't feel comfortable doing anything, don't do it.
16. You CAN paint your nails, but most hipsters don't. If you do, choose a nice black or dark red.

Am I still blogging???

I was asked this question last night.  I thought to myself "Yes, of course."  My track record with posting would say otherwise.  I just didnt feel that I have something to say every day or even every other day.  So as it stands I am still blogging and if I have things to post I will and for the next couple of weeks I will try to post something everyday.  A picture, video, joke, whatever just something and we will see how it works.
